Anna Lisa Avelar specializes in light-filled interiors that are soft yet structured, with a feeling of earthiness. Quality materials and a high standard for craftsmanship are the crux of her design philosophy. Her main office is in Los Gatos, and her team works on projects throughout the San Francisco Bay Area, Southern California, and around the country.

Founder / Principal
Anna Lisa Avelar has been an interior designer for over a decade. She’s worked on everything from urban city loft remodels, new construction of single-family homes, estate compounds to commercial spaces. At the heart of her work is the idea that life has meaning because of connection. Her work cultivates connection through the creation of spaces that are supportive and uplifting. Anna Lisa has a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from San Jose State University, a Master of Fine Arts in Interior Architecture and Design from the Academy of Art University, and has studied design in Italy, Portugal, France, and Spain. Travel remains a constant source of inspiration, especially to countries that have an earthy-indigenous feel, where she feels most in alignment with her creativity. In her free time, she can be found hiking and soaking in the California sunshine on trails throughout the bay area. She also works closely with Parti Program, a non-profit organization that helps students who are experiencing bullying by empowering them with skills and support.
